Green technologies might be one the way to venture if we are going to solve both the Earth's and her inhabitants of the pressing
environmental problems and preservation of its natural resources. The present expectation is that this field will bring innovation
and changes in daily life not to the selected few but the bottom billions in the community as well. Majority of the 5 billion people
in the developing world are getting more benefits from the technological advancement while the other group of countries are yet to
be able to reap the benefits similar to their counterparts. Therefore, consideration in the development of green technologies should
in accordance to the needs and requirements of the bottom billions as well. This key issues form the primary focus of this conference,
which provides the stage for active discussions regarding these real time issues. Examining the current practices and determining the
policies of the future endeavors occupy a prominent place in this conference. Retrospection of the deliverables and their impacts of the
previous conference (ICENV 2008) which was on similar themes also form parts of this conference. The expectations from this conference are
very high because of the appropriateness and relevance of the topics in day to day life.
