Chem-E-Car Competition 2014

April 10, 2014 - In an exciting race of overall 49 teams in the 9th Chem-E-Car competition organized by the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), USM team - 4 TYN team from School of Chemical Engineering has won first prize in the poster presentation category. All of the teams stepped up to the challenge this year and has set a very good record in the car competition.

This year the selected host institution of higher learning is Universiti Putra Malaysia. Chem-E-Car is IEM's annual competition engaging university students in designing a car powered by a chemical energy source, that will safely carry a specified load over a given distance and stop.
