Lotte Chemical Titan Scholarship 2019 Recipients

8 November 2019, the scholarship award ceremony was held at Lotte Chemical Titan Kuala Lumpur Corporate Office. The ceremony was attended by the President of Lotte Chemical Titan Berhad, Mr Lee Dong Woo, representatives from University Malaya (UM), University Technology Malaysia (UTM) and University of Science Malaysia (USM). There is a total of 6 scholars, 2 each from these 3 university respectively. The amount of sponsorship given are RM12 000 per academic year.



Nursyazana binti Haron and Chang Wen Li, Falice are both first year students from School of Chemical
Engineering, USM which are the recipients of Lotte Chemical Titan Scholarship 2019. Out of 12 candidates that are selected for the interview in USM, these 2 outstanding girls managed to secure their seats as a scholar. The scholarship acts as a booster shot for them to further their studies confidently.

The recipients are offered to do their internship program at Lotte Chemical Titan and guaranteed employment opportunity upon completion of studies equivalent to years of scholarship received which is 4 years bond.



Some advices from the scholarship’s recipients for the next potential recipients are believe in yourself and always be prepared. Opportunity is not the one knocking at your door, you are the one who should be looking for it. You must excel in both academic and co-curriculum activity in order to secure the interview.  Do be well-prepared for the interview and ask questions during the interview session to show your enthusiasm. Attire should be neat and tidy and remember to put on a smile to gain a good first impression to the interviewers. Keep calm and be confident.
