Empowering Section E of MyRA: Insights from Gear Up Session
On January 22, 2024, the School of Chemical Engineering, Engineering Campus, buzzed with intellectual fervor as the much-anticipated "Gear Up: Your Section E MyRA" session unfolded. This program, held to enhance Section E of the MyRA KPI, aimed to provide invaluable exposure to all members of the School of Chemical Engineering.
Dr. Muhammad Firdaus Akbar Jalaludin Khan, the esteemed Deputy Director of the Centre for Innovation and Consultation (CIC), led the charge with an enlightening sharing session about Pre-Commercialization, Establishment of Start-up Companies/Issued Companies, Double Tax Cut, and Pre-Commercialization Fund. Attendees during the program comprised academic staff from the School of Chemical Engineering, USM.
The event was also attended by Prof. Ts. Cm. Dr. Ahmad Zuhairi Bin Abdullah, the esteemed Dean of the School of Chemical Engineering, and Associate Professor Dr. Vel Murugan A/L Vadivelu, the erudite Deputy Dean (Research, Innovation, and Industry-Community Engagement). Their presence underscored the significance of collaborative efforts in advancing academic excellence and fostering innovation within the School. Participants also had the chance to directly engage in dynamic discussions and exchange ideas with the CIC counterparts. The session served as a catalyst for meaningful dialogue for future commercialization.
The "Gear Up" session not only reinforced the commitment of the School of Chemical Engineering, USM, to academic excellence but also ignited a collective aspiration to transcend boundaries and spearhead transformative initiatives in the realm of chemical engineering.
