Future Engineers Showcase Innovation at 2025 Internal Chem-E-Car Competition
The competition was officiated by Professor Dr. Suzylawati Ismail, Deputy Dean (Academic and International) of the School of Chemical Engineering. In her opening remarks, she commended the students for their creativity and problem-solving skills, noting the importance of such competitions in bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world application.
A Showcase of Talent and Teamwork
This year’s event saw the participation of 11 student teams, each showcasing their unique chemically-driven vehicles. Competing teams include; Carcoustics, ChemXPress, Flyy High, Formula 1, Free Riders, NEWmatics, ShareShare, Silverwing, SpaceXS, THEF4, and WONDERGIRLS.
Participants were judged based on a combination of car design, performance in completing the assigned tasks, and their presentation in a poster competition, with all components contributing to the final score.
