Despite the excitement surrounding the event, KIKeK2026 faced unexpected challenges due to adverse weather conditions. Drizzle began as early as 7.00 am., followed by heavy rain around 8.30 am., forcing the cancellation of the planned fun games (sukaneka) scheduled for 9.00 am.

Participants had to quickly abandon their tents on the field and relocate activities to the badminton court within the Sports Complex. Nevertheless, the enthusiasm and determination of the contingents remained strong throughout the day.
