ICENV2018 Provides a Platform for Researchers to Discuss Solutions in Tackling the Current Environmental Issues

11-13 December 2018; This year marked the 6th edition of the International Conference on Environment, ICENV since it was first organised by the School of Chemical Engineering in 2006. This year's ICENV is also special to the School in conjunction of its silver jubilee anniversary celebration last year. For 25 years of its establishment when the chemical engineering programme started as a Tronoh Campus known as the Perak Branch Campus, (KCP), the School has strived to be the best in the country and later the best in the world in the QS World University Ranking in the Chemical Engineering Subject Area.

“Future Engineers must think outside the box”, the IAP’s reminded

31 October 2018; The School of Chemical Engineering once again scheduled an Industry Advisory Panel, (IAP) meeting as parts of the feedback required by the Engineering Accreditation Council, (EAC), for their accreditation exercise later in November. The School welcomed Datuk Nur Iskandar A Samad, Project Director of PETRONAS RAPID Project in Pengerang, Johor and Chemical Engineering frequent advisory panel visitor, Mr Paul R. Ellis, Managing Director of Schaefer Kalk (M) Sdn. Bhd. based in Kuala Ketil, Kedah.
