25 April 2016 - The American Chemical Society (ACS) is always concerned in preparing chemical practitioners whom of high quality to enter the future job markets. The society also helps the young members to seek for suitable career pathways right after their graduations. In line with the society’s mission, on the 23rd April 2016, the ACS-USM Student-Chapter and the School of Chemical Engineering had jointly organized a forum for the undergraduates under the theme, “Bridging the Gap between Industry and Chemical Graduates”, which took place at SERC Seminar Room, USM’s Engineering Campus.

The School of Chemical Engineering is very honoured to receive Professor Jackie Ying as the undergraduate external examiner for the period beginning 2016.

USM, 11 April 2016 - Pusat Pengajian Kejuruteraan Kimia (PPKK) telah mengambil bahagian dalam program Hari Terbuka Universiti Sains Malaysia bagi tahun 2016 bertempat di Dewan Peperiksaan Kampus Induk. Program tersebut telah diadakan pada 9 April 2016 (Sabtu) dan 10 April 2016 (Ahad), dengan tagline "PAKAT MAI MASUK USM ".

The National Chem-E-Car Competition held in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Skudai, Johor this year marked the 11th year of the joint collaboration of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia, (IEM) and Department of Chemical Engineering from universities, either Malaysia's public or private institution of higher learning.
