25 October 2017, the School of Chemical Engineering welcomed two of the Industry Advisory Panel, (IAP) to its annual IAP meeting held at the Engineering Campus, Wednesday. Datuk Hj. Azman Ismail, Managing Director of PLUS Malaysia Berhad who was the former Managing Director of Shell Malaysia Trading Berhad together with Mr. Paul Ronald Ellis, Managing Director of Schaeffer Kalk Malaysia Berhad arrived in the campus for the scheduled meeting at 9.00 with the School's Management Committee.

11 October 2017, the School of Chemical Engineering is once again proud to welcome 3 of its successful alumni to join in the second series of the Forum Bicara Ilmu & Pameran Latihan Industri 2017 held at the Auditorium Hall of the Engineering Campus.

26 September 2017, the School of Chemical Engineering today received a group of 102 students from Kolej MARA Kulim, (KMK) undertaking the Pra-U matriculation study under Universiti Sains Malaysia. The program, which started for nearly 5 years, caters special students from the SPM level to undergo various courses within USM after their 1-year intensive matriculation program.

NIBONG TEBAL, 16 Ogos 2017 - Pusat Pengajian Kejuruteraan Kimia (PPKK) hari ini menerima kunjungan Jabatan Alam Sekitar (JAS) Pulau Pinang bagi menyampaikan Kursus Pengurusan Bahan Buangan Terjadual untuk semua staf teknikal di PPKK.
