NIBONG TEBAL, 16 Ogos 2017 - Pusat Pengajian Kejuruteraan Kimia (PPKK) hari ini menerima kunjungan Jabatan Alam Sekitar (JAS) Pulau Pinang bagi menyampaikan Kursus Pengurusan Bahan Buangan Terjadual untuk semua staf teknikal di PPKK.

Universiti Sains Malaysia under the Students Affair and Alumni department has arranged a full-week activities to the newly arrived undergraduate students for them to adapt and at the same time become familiar with the campus where they will live and survive on their own for the next four years. This is part of the program where the new ones will be introduced with the facilities, services, clubs and societies within the universities.

6 September 2017, the School of Chemical Engineering welcomes 88 students from all over Malaysia together with 4 international students; 2 from Tanzania, 1 from Saudi Arabia and 1 from Pakistan. A total of 92 students have successfully registered with Universiti Sains Malaysia to undertake Chemical Engineering discipline, which housed the best department at world’s 38th.

2-3 August 2017; delegates from the School of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia led by the Dean, Professor Azlina Harun@Kamaruddin set out for a benchmarking quest to the two leading universities in the Klang Valley and Seri Iskandar respectively.
