The School of Chemical Engineering is the main organizer for International Conference on Environment in every two years. The conference is the platform for discussion among scientist, technologist, academicians and legislators internationally related to various aspects especially in maintaining our environment for the betterment of our future generations.
PULAU PINANG, 22 Apr –Delegasi penyelidik Universiti Sains Malaysia berjaya membawa pulang dua pingat emas dan satu anugerah khas dalam pertandingan penyelidikan antarabangsa, 39th International Exhibition Of Inventions di Geneva, Switzerland, baru-baru ini.
On behalf of the School, Prof. Azlina Harun would like to congratulate Assoc. Prof. Mashitah Mat Don and Miss Yus Azila Yahya for their recent excellent achievement in Geneva 2011.
This year, the 6th Chem-E-Car Competition has been successfully organised by the Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, (UTP) in Tronoh, Perak Darul Ridzuan. The event was officially opened by the Rector of UTP, Datuk Dr Zainal Abidin Haji Kasim with the main VIP’s include; the Director of Undergraduate Studies, Associate Professor Dr. Hilmi Mukhtar, President of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia, Dato Ir. Prof Dr. Chuah Hean Teik and the Chairman of the competition, Ir. Mohamad Fadzil bin Adnan@Nan.
The school is honored to receive visitors from various institutions around the world. The purpose of these visits is generally to explore for possible collaboration between both institutions. During their visit, a brief presentation was given by the Dean, Prof. Azlina Harun and subsequently the guests were given a short tour of the school.
