On 9th October 2013, Ir Paul Phor Chi Wei, chairman of Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), Penang branch as well as Principal of Perunding PLA Sdn Bhd presented a talk on “Introduction to BEM and IEM” to all undergraduate students. The talk was presented at Lecture Hall 5, Engineering Campus, USM. This event is conjunction with Annual Grand Meeting 2013 organized by Chemical Engineering Student Society (CHESS). During the talk, Ir Paul gave an introduction of BEM/IEM as well as benefit of joining IEM as student member.
