It is with great pleasure to announce that School of Chemical Engineering USM has won the first and second places for the Car Competition and also the first place for the Poster Presentation of the 7th Chem-E-Car Competition organized by the Chemical Engineering Technical Division (CETD) of the Institution of Engineers of Malaysia (IEM). This achievement has placed USM as the national champion for the Chem-E-Car competition of 2012.

The School of Chemical Engineering under its student’s society, (CheSS) had successfully held the internal Chem-E-Car Competition on the 7th of March 2012. The competition, which was considered as one of the School’s annual events took part at the Main Hall of the Engineering Campus, Universiti Sains Malaysia with the highest participation ever, since it was first introduced nearly 5 years ago.
20 Februari 2012- Seramai 40 peserta yang terdiri daripada Timbalan-timbalan Dekan (Akademik dan Pembangunan Pelajar), Penolong-penolong Pendaftar dan staf sokongan yang menguruskan hal ehwal akademik dari semua PTJ, Kampus Kejuruteraan telah menghadiri Seminar Pengurusan Hal Ehwal Akademik Peringkat Kampus Kejuruteraan anjuran Pusat Pengajian Kejuruteraan Kimia dengan kerjasama Unit Latihan, Pejabat Transformasi pada 16-17 Februari 2012 yang lalu bertempat di Bilik Seminar, Pusat Pengajian Kejuruteraan Kimia.
