1 July 2025, The Setia SPICE Arena in Penang was the stage for a proud moment as Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) held its annual University Appreciation Ceremony on Tuesday, 1 July 2025, at 2:00 p.m. The ceremony celebrated the outstanding contributions of USM staff members, including several from the School of Chemical Engineering, who were recognised for their excellence in service and long-standing dedication to the university.

28 May 2025, USM Engineering Campus, Nibong Tebal - The spirit of innovation and engineering ingenuity came alive at the 2025 Internal Chem-E-Car Competition, held on Wednesday, 28 May, at the Main Hall, Engineering Campus, Seri Ampangan, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). The annual event, organised by the Chemical Engineering Student Society (CheSS), drew significant attention as student teams competed in designing and operating chemically powered model cars.
