Students From the School of Chemical Engineering, USM Won Prizes in NACES 2021

10th December 2021 – South East Asia Global Innovation Challenge (SEA-GIC) 2021 was organized by American Chemical Society (ACS) IIUMK Student Chapter in collaboration with ACS Malaysia Chapter. This competition was opened to all South East Asia (SEA) undergraduates. It consists of video pitching competition and digital arts competition. The theme for video pitching competition was Waste Booming during Pandemic: Resolving via Sustainable Chemistry.

27th November 2021, School of Chemical Engineering USM hosted the School’s Industry and Community Advisory Panel (ICAP) Annual Meeting at Zenith Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The meeting was attended by five ICAP Panellists including Dato’ Nur Iskandar (recently retired as Project Director, Petronas), Datuk Azman Ismail (MD, PLUS Bhd), Mr Paul Ellis (MD, Schaefer Kalk Sdn Bhd), TPjB Ts Ahmad Izram Osman (Division Director, Fire and Rescue Malaysia), Mdm. Nor Suhaila Kamarudin Sohami (Facilities Manager, Zurich Insurance Bhd) and the School’s Executive Committee.
