NIBONG TEBAL, 22 November 2025 – The School of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), organised the USM Lestari Fun Run 2025 as part of its ongoing commitment to advancing the university’s sustainability agenda. The event also marked the beginning of the pre-celebration for the Engineering Campus’ 25th Anniversary in 2026.

Balik Pulau, 1 November 2025 – The School of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia, successfully organised its annual Team Building 2025 programme for all second-year undergraduate students at White Resort Camp (WRC), Balik Pulau, Penang. The one-day event, themed “Together We Build Tomorrow’s Leaders,” aimed to strengthen teamwork, enhance communication, and foster unity among students, essential foundations for future engineers and leaders.

12 November 2025 – The School of Chemical Engineering successfully hosted its first Final Year Project (FYP) Bootcamp, with full participation from final-year students and strong engagement throughout the session.

16 October 2025 – The School of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) was honoured to welcome a delegation from Huaqiao University (HQU), China, in a visit aimed at strengthening academic and research collaboration between the two institutions, particularly in the areas of low-carbon technologies and high-value biomass utilisation.
