Balik Pulau, 1 November 2025 – The School of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia, successfully organised its annual Team Building 2025 programme for all second-year undergraduate students at White Resort Camp (WRC), Balik Pulau, Penang. The one-day event, themed “Together We Build Tomorrow’s Leaders,” aimed to strengthen teamwork, enhance communication, and foster unity among students, essential foundations for future engineers and leaders.

12 November 2025 – The School of Chemical Engineering successfully hosted its first Final Year Project (FYP) Bootcamp, with full participation from final-year students and strong engagement throughout the session.

16 October 2025 – The School of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) was honoured to welcome a delegation from Huaqiao University (HQU), China, in a visit aimed at strengthening academic and research collaboration between the two institutions, particularly in the areas of low-carbon technologies and high-value biomass utilisation.

October 2025 – The School of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) welcomed a fresh intake of students for the 2025/2026 academic session, with a total of 109 new candidates, including two international students, officially registering at the School today.
