PENANG, March 2015 - Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) recently received sponsorship of laboratory equipment and products worth RM50,000 from IKA Works (Asia) Sdn Bhd at its Main Campus here.

As an act of empathy and social responsibility, the School of Chemical Engineering (SCE) has sent a team of volunteers consisting of 8 staff from the School to deliver the collected donations to the families of SCE's staff residing in Kelantan and other civilians involved in the flood disaster at the East Coast.

Tahniah kepada dua pensyarah Pusat Pengajian Kejuruteraan Kimia (PPKK) yang telah dipilih sebagai Felo ASM iaitu Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman dan Top Research Scientist Malaysia (TRSM) iaitu Prof. Dr. Ahmad Zuhairi oleh Akademi Sains Malaysia (ASM).

 

KUALA LUMPUR, 8 Dis.2014 – Tokoh akademia terkemuka Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) merangkap Profesor dalam bidang Membran Sains dan Teknologi, Profesor Dr. Abdul Latif Ahmad mengukir kejayaan paling berprestij dan paling manis dalam karier beliau apabila dinobat sebagai penerima Anugerah Merdeka bagi tahun 2014.
